Thank you so much for pinch-hitting at our PMI Mid-Missouri professional development conference!  As you know, just three days before our event, we were notified that one of our primary workshops speakers was unable to attend due to a personal emergency.  As we considered options, I thought back to the PMI LIM in San Diego earlier this year and how your message stuck with me.  So, I reached out.  When we connected on the phone, your leadership and compassion was front-and-center and you immediately responded as a partner and asked how you could help.  Just a day later, you had made some adjustments to your schedule and caught a late night flight to Missouri, where you spent the next two days at our event.

I saw first-hand how impactful your workshop was for so many of our attendees, and as we wound down the last workshop, the significance of your message and your personal impact on our member community was on full display.  When we were asked to identify exceptional leaders during the workshop, you immediately made my list.  In such a last-minute and logistically challenging situation where it would have been so easy to say no to our inquiry, we are so grateful that you said YES and joined us!
