Our PMI chapter brought in Spencer to present two, four-hour leadership workshops in the middle of February on the day of a major snowstorm. He arrived at 6 AM – two hours before the workshop started – and stayed nearly two hours after it ended consulting attendees seeking his advice. I was given an opportunity to hear Spencer Horn (Altium Leadership) speak at the Sioux Falls PMI Summit.  The way Spencer provided the information was phenomenal and helped me to see how I could better communicate with my teams. Spencer also helped me to determine my leadership style and how to coexist with other leadership styles.
I also took part in completing a ProScan questionnaire and discovered a few new things for my toolbox when working and communicating with others.  Spencer provides information in a manner that allows people to digest it and use it in their daily lives weather at work or home.

I booked Spencer Horn for his delegation and coaching topic and it was a huge hit with my members. They all agreed with one member’s comment “I wish I would have learned this earlier in my career.” When I asked if anyone would be interested in having a follow up for their teams it was unanimous and we ended up with 85 attendees in a follow up conference. One attendee responded that it was the best training seminar they had ever attended. I have been bringing in speakers for my members for 10 years. My favorite speaker was Spencer Horn. He gave two presentations. I would have gone to both, but decided to diversify the classes I attended in order to attempt to manage my “Talent Triangle.” I attended the session on Branding Yourself, which was probably my biggest motivation to start my blog back up, again. If you ever have the chance to work with Spencer, or attend one of his presentations, I highly recommend it.

I was selected to be a part of a leadership program with New York State Society of CPA’s in summer of 2019, and I was fortunate to get 6 individual sessions with Spencer (Big thank you to NYSSCPA). It was a very rewarding experience to work with Spencer. He pushed me to the next level and taught me how to be more assertive, overcome self-doubt, being accountable for studying for CPA exam and strive for success. Amazing! Yes, this is what comes to my mind every time I attend the session of Spencer Horn. What an amazing speaker he is. For a professional development session for the education industry in Pakistan, we were arranging a session and Spencer’s name came into my mind. But I was skeptical as we were to do the session in our morning in Pakistan which is late night in the USA for him. So he might say no to the session. But after all, he is Spencer! He graciously accepted the invitation and conducted the session at his mid night on mental well-being during the challenging time of Covid which was really appreciable.

The presentation, content, and the way he emotionally connected with our community during the session on the other side of the world is highly commendable. Recently I was a student of Spencer Horn’s Communicate with Impact and Lead with Impact classes. I have been in customer relations/marketing and communication for almost 30 years. About 15-years ago I was a student in a marketing class when the instructor explained that he had traveled the world speaking to many prominent world leaders. Throughout the instructor’s travels he discovered that the common problem amongst world leaders was the lack of communication- with the problem ever increasing. This problem exists more so today and is far more prominent. With the lack of communication, how do you accomplish any sort of conflict resolution? We spend two to three seconds interacting in videos. And yet violence across the globe is worse now than ever. Spencer Horn’s class taught me that we are all different in our styles of communication with the best-known explanation due to our experiences. Now I won’t give away everything I learned- you will need to take the class. I will just say that how I approach a conversation these days is with a lot more patience- AND exercising my commitment, because of Spencer’s class to “practice the pause”. Thank you, Spencer Horn for changing my perspective on how I approach a conversation- not everyone speaks my language.

As a leader in my organization, I have taken many personality assessments and leadership development training courses. The Altium Leadership training course I recently completed was, by far, the best I’ve done. I learned things about myself I hadn’t considered in great detail before.  The training was fun, insightful and thought provoking.

Our stake does a great two full day mission prep training for our Priest age young men that we call ALMA Camp. Spencer Horn did a 3-hour training with our 80 young men. After the camp, we surveyed the young men on what they liked and disliked about the camp. Keep in mind, we have many powerful activities going non-stop from Thursday night through Saturday night. For a more in depth personality analysis and 1 hour of private consultation. My name is Hicham Zeinoun and I have known Mr. Spencer Horn since two months when I first met him on a zoom call as an introduction to a monthly talk, a part of our activities in project management institute Lebanon Chapter. During the first moments of the call, Spencer’s friendly approach made me feel as if I know him for years and by then, I anticipated an outstanding monthly talk.

I have worked with Spencer many capacities and have without exception found that he is one of the most talented, positive, knowledgeable professional motivators that I have met in my lifetime. Spencer’s been great mentor for me. We met in 2019 PMI Poland Chapter Mentoring Program and worked together for almost a year. I am amazed how incredible and inspirational Spencer is. I was looking for a 6th star, but that’s not available. Spencer Horn Solutions gives a one of a kind approach to not only understanding how to communicate with your coworkers, but how to communicate in life. Our team of 25 was lucky enough to be in the presence of Spencer over the past 3 days. My own personal development is enough to get me to write this review, but it’s actually seeing the change in my team that is even more impressive.
